most memorables ones:
_
there was the 4days 3nights trekking in the brunei jungle, day2 was the most movtivating day when we met the rest of the group in the middway of the jungle, everyone was so happy to see each other!! were told that one of paramedic trainee fell out cos he wasnt feeling well =(
it didnt help when pam injured herself on day3 and i was left alone, =(
was really down on morale as the only surviving female paramedic trainee
but i got over it,
told you so, IMMA STRONG haha
day4 we finally reached the OBBD!!

next was the solo night. were only given a ground sheet, a cover sheet, papers and pen to do our reflections, 2L of water, a water proof bag, air horn, THATS ALL.
thumb of the rule: no torch lights are to be brought, we have to fast from lunch till the next day dawn, no speaking, no walking to friend's tent at any time. to recall and reflect upon oneself and others' actions, words, etc during the past 4trekking days..
i wasnt afraid staying alone in the tent, i wasnt afraid if there were ghosts, cos the past 3nights, nobody mentioned that they saw ghost(?) also, had my share of solo night esp on the last night when pam was back at camp, i slept alone.

solo night was the longest night ever in my entire 20years +++days of life. i'd hate to go thru it again! it was raining that day when we were informed that we have to do our solo night. gracious god, i dont know how to pitch a tent! HOW HOW HOW! how cld they do this to us! solo night on a wet weather! ='( hahaha ANYWAY i survived and so did everybody else..tell you more
i was the first one to be brought to my campsite for solo night, found 2more strings on my campsite and started to pitch my tent, by the time i was done, my ground sheet was wet! i was soaked in my long4 uniform, bra, panty, socks, boots all wet as well. ok, so i chopped chopped and placed myself inside the tent, and started to do my reflections before the sun sets in. in Brunei, the sun sets in from 1730hrs to 1800hrs. about an hour later, zippy and jaidi came by to powder my tent and lit a mosquitto coil for me. continued to pen my thoughts till i cld see no more of my written handwritings. then i laid down and told myself, this is it, you are gg to sleep thru the night! how wonderful, when will you ever get to sleep for so long!

i was so wrong and so was everybody else. the rain didnt stop, in case you dont know: its very noisy in the jungle. nobody carried watch except for the time keeper (lucky ass) i was already starting to feel the chills and shivers then.. i thought i had slept for very long, i had many random dreams (one of it was, my teammates came down and joined me, when i opened my eyes, there was nobody; just a sky of black. so if im blind, it will be like this, aha i told myself that) i cldnt sleep at all, i tried tucking myself in all sleeping positions, but damn, it was too cold, i placed my palms under armpits, crossed my hands over chest but no use, no use. i was shivering; i took off my long4 uniform to use as a cover; i was wearing a rashie inside and my left leg was in great pain (i fell down on day2 trek, down the steep slope, friends fell too, i think its my landing cos i was the only one who limped after the fall! and started limping since, gg see doc laters) many thoughts flooded my mind, i wanted to give up, sound the air horn and insist the instructors to bring me back. im glad that i perserved till the end, like the rest. longest night ever... everytime i unveil my long4 top from my head, i still see no light, no sunlight, no sign of hope. but somewhere at the back of my head.. i know i am gg to make it, just like the trek, i can do it.

finally, after tremendous of long hours, as if i have been sleeping inside a coffin for days, i see my hands.. i gaggle my mouth with water, wear my boots, btw i didnt take off my socks for the night cos i reckon it will be even worse, phew, my foot didnt rot lol. eeeeyer i know. and started to pack my stuffs. waited near to 45mins for the whole group to come and get me and YAY! end of solo night :D
we had water activities, eh i forgot what its called. is it river crossing? hmm. 2 ropes were being tied around trees across the river, we sent down heavy bags, 5flyers altogether, Jaidi asked if i wanna try and i said YES! like flying fox above the river! DAMN SHIOKSSSSSness! before that we were taught basic survival skills like how do we keep ourselves afloat when we fell into river etc, following we had kayaking! after which we dried our equipments and stuffs under the hot scrotching weather on a mega big field. boys plucked down rambutans too,
was great, everyone CANT WAIT TO GO HOME SWEET HOME!

the female dorm was fucking terrible to stay in! as if the whole family tree of ants, flies, cacikas or how you spell that was in it! during the daytime is fine, but at night, its pack with the proud insects clad. and it got pam and myself screaming AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH~ since the first night we slept there!!! ended up, we were given permission to use the muslim prayers room,.thank god.

day7 started off with the 10km run./ if i haven hurt my left knee, i think i wld have completed the run!! DAMN. after all the runs at CDA, i think i can run. groarr get well knee, i need to take my IPPT in 2weeks time dammit. pam and myself jogged and walked 7km, when we reached the 2nd water check point, the instructors told us to get onto the bus cos we are running out of time. saw dead-cos-being-ran-over chicken, bird, snake, frog along the way as well.
we packed our stuffs, had briefing, collected our certificates, had lunch and off we go to the brunei international airport!! HURRAYYYYYYYY
