Every blessing counts
hello there...
i have a plentiful of thoughts recently, however im not troubled against them yet i feel rather amused by how some people actually think.. :P
ytd was my sec class gathering, the number of people who came was pretty expected i would say, nevertheless it was so much easier managing a small group! :> Before the prawning session, darl and myself were kept busy as medics on standby for one of my gf's friend's futsal football event at ECP, coincidentally, a night before the class outing she called me to ask if i cld help her out. I (darl was too!) was all game when i heard its in the morning and its at East Coast Park too, Alhamdulilah when we reached, the prawning ground is actually just beside each other, saved us from the walking distance!!
People who came: Mish and bf, Joyce and bf and her younger brother who is really very hyper, friendly (he offered zareef a biscuit) and always up to mischief, myself and darl, yongtah, sayhao, nelson and uncle tan who came later, just in time for the prawn and hotdogs feast, kaiboon, keri, jarrel and his gf. I looked back and realised most of the girls in the class except for Chuiping, Jannah, (who else) are all dating guys out of secondary school. Most of our partners are older than us, well which woman doesnt enjoy the sense of security? i secretly smiled to myself seeing mish and bf, jarrel and gf and joyce and her bf in their own lovely dovely ways :) im happy to see my girl friends happy.
i get excited easily recently, i reckon it has something to do with wedding bells!! anyway i didnt tell anyone how i really felt as my big day is drawing closer, but im really excited, anxious -hoping everything will go according as planned, and theres cacoons growing in my stomach already! alamak so shy *blush*
anyway ytds catch was pathetic to the maximum!! 4prawns; $15 for 1 prawn, do the math.. actually we caught 3, one of the prawn was found clinging onto the net, im sorry we had to grab you in together with the caught ones heehee. Think we preferred prawning at bishan and guilemard! more catch for former, bigger catch at latter..
so i met up with my dajie on friday, introduced zul to her, im really happy for her because shes getting hitched early next Jan! she said she wont be able to attend my wedding because shes particular or rather her mom is, abt attending baby showers, wake, wedding three months before hers :( i feel sad actually, but its alright, im gna attend hers anyway! :D she was shocked when she learnt that i'd converted to be a muslim, she was shocked when she knew i am going to get married end of year and at this age. in fact, i have people doesnt matter whether im close to them anot throwing questions of such to me: why are you getting married so young? you sure abt converting? dont you regret? wont you miss eating pork??...Bak Hwa is nice...
This is what i been wanting to say to those who have such questions.. :)
im getting married soon at the age of 22, because, i have found someone whom im very and most contented with his presence in my life. No, im not pregnant. Why the rush? Theres no rush actually, i have a job, a stable income, a very supportive parents and family, and i feel that im comfortable too. or, whats there more to wait? i dont see any wrong reasons of me doing what i know its best for me. Furthermore, i live my life and im thankful to God for everything, and everyday.
2more days to go, and i'm a month old muslimah. Any regrets? Nope, none at all. Im still as happy. I love my life even more. I appreciate my family like never before. I see people in their good and bad intentions. Ask me why. its a little secret between me and Him :) Do i miss eating pork? Nope. pork is just a meat, a piece of meat in your meal, having a meal is just a living process.. i find it extremely hilarious when ppl say soup kembeng, soup tulang, beef steak, anything with pork, frog porridge are very nice, heavenly food. Go ahead and enjoy, i receive no temptations at all. I am still growing well, though i only consume mainly on chicken, seafood. ppl laugh, are you crazy? no other meat in your life? you are crazy, im the one deciding what goes into my food canal wad. Am i acting weird to you in any actions since im in deficiency of red meat? LOL... on the other hand, Yes i did love eating minced pork noodles, esp bee hoon dry and Bak Hwa, but im past even with the thought of tasting them once more. Dont be sorry for me for i do not eat beef/mutton/pork, I would be sorry for you instead, because you are worried for something that mean so insignificant to me.
Life isnt just abt food you know? ;)
mish told me ytd that someone from my sec sch clinque asked her after seeing my fb pictures whether im getting married. Shame on you and on us, this classmate of us, we were always seen gg for recess, lunch tgt, and now you dont even have the courtesy to ask me yourself... sigh. do i bite?
aye, and i thought im supposed to work today but guess what?!?! im off again!!
