Lost and Found
Work was fun, just that on my last day duty, shit happened. before that, everything went on pretty well. first call, we had a hard time persuading the uncle who had difficulty moving himself to let us carry him, well in the end we carried him up onto the stretcher despite he told us that he cld mange on his own. heehee talk about being patience sometimes... if patient is really fine and fun to disturb, we can lullaby the whole time, just kidding. everyone was complaining that it was only the first call, yet by the time we were waiting for the lift to bring us and the patient in the stretcher down, we all looked as if there was an invisible showerhead above our head!
come second call, got a tad excited because it was in the budget hotel at geylang area.. (might get lucky with interesting cases) cut long story short, i had to request for 'special services' because patient is really huge! like XXXXL. when the firemen came to render their assistance, deng deng, i was surprised that it was SSG Zul! hahaha what coincidence :p we spent about 15-mins to move the patient, hard work! but it was fun seeing a team of people working their ways to move the patient.
third call we went to another budget hotel again, the nurses suspected he was trying to attempt suicide, forth call was kinda sad.. this old man who was a cyclist, was ran down by a big lorry.. he was deaf and mute.. he didnt make it inside the hospital :'(
what a day for the amb crew, most standbys of the day.. interesting calls. sigh.. because all of us felt for the old man and his family.
anyway...thats not the worst.. we met with an accident, got into big shit, im really thankful towards zul and his sir for helping us out.. after this, i really really learnt something that i should have learnt a long time ago.. im really stubborn like cow, but this time round, something that he said, awakened me...

met up with nadd ytd, she was feeling down, yet there was nothing much i cld do actually, she wanted to eat ice cream, so we went for some ice cream treats! i really hope eventually everything will be fine, i know its not easy for you and them, but if you perservere on, nothing is impossible...all the best my dearest friend.
i feel kinda sad that we dont have the rights to wear the star of life...what difference are we with the 1777 amb crew... might as well take back our ranks, our paramedic tab... some are persisting on... if only the red badge is recognised, why made us wear the star of life for so long and now restricting us to wear it? i mean, F--- whoever that made this new rule!!! soon, allowance will be cut.... cos we are not deserving at all. :(( greet your ass!
time seems to be flying now.. hopefully for tonight too :B
i found the missing star today, damn happy like bird!!!!!!!!!!!!!
