love craze
my head is hurting like~~~ :( didnt really get any rest last night duty, came home, slept for an hour or so and im up...
today i am going to make a list of what my hubby has done for me... as a reminder of how lucky i am to have him in my life..
since our courtship daze...
he taught me what is love, he showed me what he is capable of loving, he made me believed in love, through organising family outings, he demonstrated how important kinship is. He seen me in my ups and downs, surfaced my fear, the best in me, gave me strength and wise words to tide through tough times, experiencing what true friendships are, together with me. He is a unique one, i have never met someone like him before, who is keen to know everything about me, who is ever so forgiving, always practising patience with me, knowing that someday i will learn my footsteps and be independent, never fails to make me laugh, make me mad yet melts my soul with his warm hugs and kisses; and always making me fall in love with him every other day.
he sent me to work, fetched me from post night/post day duty, and surprised me with nice hearty long john/macdonalds breakfast and we would enjoy the morning breeze at beach. he brought home cooked food for me everytime he picked me up from a long day work. we enjoyed dating in a simple way, we wont frequent those lavish restaurants. our favourite hang out place -Yishun Dam, with nice yong tau fu, sushi and bubble tea! and he brought me to many beautiful nature reserve places in singapore.. our short getaway trip? a drive up journey to msia, truly asia. we shopped, we walked, we caught movies, we watched them polishing orange, we had seafood feast over there, sedap gila and cheap food you probably wont be able to find in our hometown anymore. traveling to bali and phuket was the best thing we did together as young couple.. we adopted a hobby together: prawning! cycling, jogging/workout partners, we love cooking for each other.
things happened; because things dont always go as smoothly or as how we took things as the way we thought they would always be. i caused my hubby to be ripped off from his ability to own his transport.. people told him to cast all the blame upon me, so that his charges wouldnt be so severe, he didnt.. his affections did not decrease any bit. instead, this whole period of time, brought both of our families even closer, needless to say, both of us became more closer and stronger as any other couple. i dare bet that no other guy will even be able to do something so close to this.. i was very touched by his actions.. despite all these drama woohaa, he cycled to my workplace, continued to send me back home after my shifts.. if possible, he would walk me home if he wasnt working..
on my birthday last year, he threw a surprise birthday party for me.. i never expected it. i was brought to tears of joy and i was caught speechless. i must have done a truckload of good deeds in my past life to deserve such a great man in my life now. and he proposed to me. I said Yes. our wedding day was the most celebrated memorable day of our love for each other. Till date, i cant believe everything had happened so swiftly and alhamdulillah, had fallen into place so far..
i am not a good lover though, i have had caused him many heartaches throughout this period.. there are times when i allowed the same mistakes to repeat themselves and only learnt the lesson after like three/four times? sigh. i am not perfect, i am still learning how to be a good partner to him. i am learning to forgo my ego, and apologize even though i may be right, well most of the times im stuck up, i dont know why i cant apologize when i am obviously in the wrong, inside of my stirring emotions, i tend to be so defensive that i forgot its not about me anymore, its about US...
in this entry today, i want to tell you how grateful i am, and how lucky i am to be your wife. i am sorry for all the terrible mistakes that i had done, all the sorrows, heartaches, they were never meant to happen, really.
I love you, Zul.

Sufia wife.
